About Us

At Home Cares Online Directory, for the retired and elderly, lists information on products, services, care and businesses that cater to the elderly and retired in Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Te Puke, Katikati and Taranaki. Now also Horowhenua !!

This directory came about as a direct result of frustrating experience trying to find assistance and services for the elderly and retired still living in their own homes in the Tauranga/ Mount Maunganui/Papamoa area. The Taranaki region was added in 2008 and now in October 2009 Horowhenua has also just been added to the site.
One of the main aims of this web site is to provide an easy to use, one stop shop, for up to date, comprehensive information, on services/businesses/products and care catering to the elderly and growing older population here in the Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and now the Horowhenua area.

The web site is designed to provide information for the growing older, their families and other organizations/professionals who are in contact with this sector.

At Home Cares Consultancy aims to provide:-

  • Information through personal contact visits for those who prefer the personalized touch, or do not have easy access to the internet. This service available in Tauranga, Mount and Papamoa only. Phone enquiry's outside this area are welcome.

She has completed her final papers to wards a Graduate Diploma in Business through Massey University with Management and Small Business endorsements and is now also attempting to finish a degree. She has two adult children and a Golden retriever.
