The Hospital Social Workers work alongside relevant hospital and community services including Iwi services.
The social work team is committed to a code of confidentiality and social workers are bound by the ANZASW code of ethics and standards of practice.
How can you access our services?
The Social Work service can be accessed by referrals from within the hospital, from GPs and by self referral, if the problem is health related. If we cannot help we will endeavour to pass you on to an appropriate agency.
Hours of service
8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
After hours please leave a message on 07 579 8460.
There is a duty Social Worker available from 8.00am - 4.30pm on week days for queries, consultations, information and resources.
