The Harvey family began providing funeral services in 1923 and operated it as part of their joinery business until 1974 when Milton and Airini Bowler purchased the business. At a later date the name changed to Harvey Bowler. In 2004, the firm was purchased by Michael and Liz Hill, ensuring local ownership and continuing family traditions.
Chapels – Levin and Otaki
Our chapels, where either religious or secular funerals can be held, offer convenience for families. The décor is designed for tranquility and the Levin chapel has temperature control for your comfort. An electronic organ and modern sound system allows a selection of music to be played while recording facilities allow audio and/or video recording of the service. Power point presentations are also available upon request.
