TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE INTEREST AND GENERAL WELFARE OF ALL HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE IN THE GENERAL HOROWHENUA DISTRICT.
THE HEARING ASSOCIATION INC.
Is one of the member groups of the National Foundation for the Deaf. It is a voluntary non-profit organisation set up to provide support and education services for adults with impaired hearing. There are over 5000 members with 40 branches and sub-branches nationally.
